The Sweet Science: Chocolate Tasting and Chocolate Making with Ardent Oso

$40 (and up) per person | Ardent Oso

Overview

Discover the fascinating world of fine chocolate in one of two interactive 2-hour workshops led by the talented Ardent Oso team. This is your opportunity to indulge your senses and expand your palate.

Chocolate Tasting Workshop - What To Expect

Starting with single-origin ground nibs, sugar, and cocoa butter - over the course of two hours - you’ll take the journey of refining these ingredients into molten chocolate, where you’ll then hand temper the chocolate using a marble slab, cast your chocolate into bar molds, and wrap the bars yourselves.

Chocolate Making Workshop - What To Expect

Our tasting class consists of six curated chocolate bars from various craft chocolate makers: three single origin bars and three inclusion bars (which contain added ingredients).

Tasting the single origins, we’ll be exploring the divergent flavors intrinsic in cacao of different origins. These different flavor directions are accentuated through the life of the cacao bean, from the farm to the bar.

Who Should Attend

Chocolate lovers, culinary enthusiasts, and professionals in the food and beverage industry are all welcome. This class is perfect for anyone interested in elevating their understanding and appreciation of chocolate.
